AI Palm Reading

You upload a photo of your open palm, and a vision-capable AI describes what it can make out to write your palmistry reading. Here's exactly how it works.

How the AI reading works

When you order a palm reading on Velotit, you upload a photo of your palm. Claude, the vision-capable AI model we use, looks at the image and describes what it can make out: the path of the four main lines, how deep they appear, and the mounts of the hand.

From that description, the same system writes your reading following traditional palmistry: what each line and mount is associated with, and how they relate to each other in your particular hand. No one looks at your photo live.

This is a symbolic reading, not a diagnosis. Palmistry is an interpretive tradition, not a medical technique or a science with proven predictive power.

The four main lines

Every reading starts from these four lines. This table sums up where each one sits and what it's traditionally linked to; the full reading connects them within your particular hand.

LineWhere it isTraditionally associated with
LifeCurves around the base of the thumb, between thumb and index finger, toward the wrist.Vitality and the stages of life.
HeartThe topmost line on the palm, just below the fingers, running across the hand.Emotional life and how you relate to others.
HeadCrosses the middle of the palm, starting near where the life line begins. How you think and make decisions.
FateRuns vertically from the base of the palm up toward the middle finger, when present.Life direction and sense of purpose.

What makes a good photo

Side natural light, from a window, brings out the relief of your lines without flattening your skin. Direct front light or flash tends to wash the image out, making the grooves harder to see.

Your hand should be open and flat, fingers relaxed and slightly apart, with the whole palm inside the frame, fingertips included. Cut off a corner and that area simply can't be read.

Skip filters, black and white, or any editing: they change the real contrast of your skin. Use your dominant hand, the one you write with: in Western tradition it shows what you do with your potential.

What this reading can't do

Fine or faint lines don't always show up clearly in a photo, however good it is. When something can't be seen with confidence, the reading says so instead of making it up.

It doesn't replace what someone would see with your hand physically in front of them. It's an interpretation from an image, with the limits that involves.

What happens to your photo

Your photo is used to generate your reading and stored in your private user area alongside the result, so you can come back to it whenever you like. It's never published or shared.

Not a scanner app, not a generic chatbot

An app that "scans" your hand usually matches patterns against a fixed database and returns generic text repeated for similar prints. Here, every reading is written fresh from what the AI describes in your actual photo.

Asking a generic chatbot about your hand is different too: it doesn't follow a fixed traditional palmistry framework or the same structure twice. Our system always works through the same set of lines and mounts.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a professional camera?

No. A phone camera is enough if the light is good and the photo is in focus. Framing and light matter far more than resolution.

What if my photo comes out blurry or shadowed?

The reading may be incomplete for the parts that aren't clear. It's better to retake the photo than to submit one you're unsure about.

Can I get both hands read?

The service is built around one photo, of your dominant hand. In tradition, that's the one that shows what you do with your potential.

Is this the same as an in-person reading?

Not quite. An in-person reading lets someone see the real texture of your skin and ask questions on the spot. This is a written interpretation from a photo.

How long does my reading take?

It's generated automatically after payment and appears in your account. It usually takes a few minutes, depending on the queue.
